The Challenge
Following successful work on the PlayStation brand, ODD were asked by Sony to develop an experiential idea to support 'Play Doh', the third in a series of TV ads by Fallon. They wanted to break the mold and provide a physical space to showcase product and experience the brand proposition, colour.like.no.other
ODD Solution
We wanted visitors to interact with the brand, not be overwhelmed by it. This meant our solution had to be something special. The Colour Rooms are now widely regarded as the ultimate pop-up bars built in London and Berlin. Covering some 6,000+ square feet each, these cocktail bars, with private screening rooms, product showcases, bar and VIP lounges mixed chic colour and lighting in unique venues with Bravia products.
Everything from the interior design and build to the brand identity, menu design and cocktails created by us.
ODD Results
The venues paid for themselves in a matter of months; the Colour Rooms became the venue for high-profile events and attracting celebrities including Kate Moss, Sienna Miller, Kelly Osborne, Naomi Campbell and a host of others; we achieved front page national press coverage; the project won two awards at the Eventia International Awards 2009.
