ODD were appointed by Siemens in 2013, tasked with putting Siemens Home Appliances in the public eye.

Ambition

Siemens tasked ODD to define and develop an engaging campaign theme which could be activated across all consumer and trade touch points, for each of their new product ranges, launching throughout the year.

The ODD Solution

Each campaign needed to help people buy and help the trade sell. We created a series of integrated campaigns to launch each range, including activation across online display advertising, OOH, digital OOH, print, website design and trade promotions.

To further enhance the iSensoric campaign and get the washing machine range in front of consumers, we took to the Grand Designs Show 2014. Here we designed stands and developed experiential activity to grab the attention of over 100,000 visitors and make them take notice of Siemens’ aspirational household products.

Showcasing the iSensoric sensor technology as well as the full Siemens range, we took charge of the creative, design, artwork and stand production. The team created an “exploding i-Dos” installation, which brought the innovative technology behind the i-Dos washing machine to life. However, the main attraction was an F1 simulator, which allowed consumers to try out a full-size model F1 car, encouraging them to ‘experience a life less ordinary’ and creating some serious buzz around the stand.

Beautiful Effectiveness

The most recent iSensoric campaign is performing above industry benchmarks, with CTR running at 0.30% (industry average is 0.07%) and engagement rates exceeding 12%.
