Following the successful Vodafone Enterprise campaign, the mobile phone giant tasked ODD with creating an integrated campaign for Christmas.

Ambition

Vodafone Ireland approached creative agency ODD to deliver a nationwide Christmas campaign across TV, print, outdoor, radio and digital.

The ODD Solution

Simplicity was the key. ‘Make Someone Happy’ was a clear, universal and emotive hook to tie together both portrait led ads with stronger art directional still life executions, putting the focus on product.

Our campaign was based on a simple insight… there are too many unwanted gifts at Christmas. Instead, we asked people to give a gift that’s worth giving - a gift that the recipient will actually want and feel good about. Allowing you to enjoy the gift of giving.

The campaign consisted of OOH, print and in-store creative to remind shoppers of this message during the Christmas period.

Moving on the brands approach to seasonal communications, ODD delivered a more refined and considered creative solution, which went on to be Vodafone Ireland’s most successful Christmas campaign to date.
