Orms – Brand Vision & Identity Design

THE CHALLENGE: In 2012, we were approached to rebrand design and architect firm, Orms. Orms’ brand had changed little since its inception in 1984, and they recognised the need to reflect how they’d grown and matured visually and tonally, inside and out.

OUR APPROACH: We hosted a series of workshops to help identify Orms’ brand vision and mission. It was also an exercise that helped the brand get to know us and to clarify our approach. What we identified was that Orms have a real point of difference. They create “architecture that listens”, a unique proposition that became the starting point of our rebrand.

OUR SOLUTION: We developed a new brand identity that’s as flexible, modern and considered as the work they do.

We brought the strategic framework to life across all aspects of the rebrand: from brand identity and guiding principles, to the application of the identity across all collateral.

After holding a series of user experience workshops, we designed a new website that beautifully showcases the firm’s work while still functioning as a portal to meet the core user’s needs.

THE RESULTS: Following a successful internal release a few months prior, more than 450 people joined Orms at One Mayfair to celebrate their 30-year history and the launch of the new brand.
