Exceeding expectations at 2012 Olympics
The Westfield Group, valued at over £31 billion, was founded in 1960 and is the largest retail property group in the world, working with over 23,600 retailers. ODD was chosen as lead branding agency for the iconic new Stratford development,situated at the heart of the 2012 Olympic games site.
At the core of the Stratford project is the desire to capture and integrate into all communications the essence of the East End and to win the hearts and minds of the local.
Our work has included construction hoardings, marketing suites, digital presentations, conference materials, exhibitions, photo shoots, press packs, retail promotional packs, website art direction, and a whole host of additional collateral.
We have been highly innovative, bringing to the table concepts never seen before in shopping centres. Retail space was over-subscribed right up to the launch of the centre, which opened for business in September 2011. Press coverage was been extensive and exceeded all Westfield’s expectations.
